About SendSMS.pk and the background

My name is Danial and people mostly know me as Dee Jay'(find me of facebook). I started working and learning on Short Messaging Service in June 2009. I still remember it was my final paper the next morning and I was working on making a two way communication gateway for a web interface using GSM devices ;)

This website was initially just a project of interest and research. With this website, I had a number of good and bad experiences. The website was launched just as a testing project and I had to shut down the services for a while in the begining. However, some of my visitors asked me to restart it and it then came online again.

It was started under a sub-domain of an old website, then shifted to sendurdusms.com and then I finally created it just for Pakistani people with the name of SendSMS.pk

I was managing the website all alone for one year, but now I have a trustworthy friend to help me managing the website, because development, marketing, managing and helping along with my jobs and studies ... Oh that was too much :P ... is very difficult.

Servers:

Those who know about this would understand this easily. There are two servers (or set of servers) needed for the website to run in a proper manner. One is web server, which initiates the website and the other is sms server which will get and send and receive sms to its location. The web server of SendSMS.pk is located in Canada and sms servers are located in Lahore, Pakistan.

The servers are very powerful and I have tried my best to avoid the problems that we face in Pakistan (like load shedding and internet connection problems). I will never stop upgrading the servers I guess and I know my visitors like the way I manage things ... Hope to give you better services always ...
